Bundle Pricing Estimates

Most contractors do not buy every module individually. These are the common bundles and their estimated cost multipliers relative to the base PM-only price. Examples assume a $15,000/year base at $10M annual volume.

BundleMultiplierExample (at $10M volume)
PM only1x (base tier price)$15,000/yr at $10M volume
PM + Financials~1.2 - 1.25x base$18,000 - $18,750/yr
PM + Financials + Quality/Safety~1.3 - 1.4x base$19,500 - $21,000/yr
Full suite (all modules)~1.5 - 2x base$22,500 - $30,000/yr

Module Selection Strategy

The most common mistake contractors make is buying the full suite when they only need two or three modules. Start with Project Management, which is always included. If you manage your own financials (not cost-plus), add Financial Management. If you have safety requirements, add Quality and Safety.

Preconstruction and Field Productivity are the least commonly purchased add-ons. Preconstruction is only valuable if you are a GC bidding on multiple competitive projects. Field Productivity is useful for tracking labour productivity, but many contractors find that daily logs in the PM module cover most of their needs.

Remember: bundling modules upfront is almost always cheaper than adding them later. If you are confident you will need Financials within 12 months, include it in your initial contract. Procore sales teams are more flexible on bundle pricing during the initial sale than at renewal.

Which Modules Do You Need?

The right module combination depends on your company type, project complexity, and existing workflows. Here are the most common configurations by contractor type:

Specialty subcontractor

PM only

RFIs, submittals, and daily logs cover most sub needs. Financials handled by separate accounting.

Small-to-mid GC (residential)

PM + Quality/Safety

Client communication and safety tracking. Financial controls often handled in QuickBooks.

Mid-size GC (commercial)

PM + Financials + Quality/Safety

Full project and financial controls. This is the most popular bundle for commercial contractors.

Large GC (enterprise)

Full suite

Complete platform integration across preconstruction, execution, and closeout phases.

Module Pricing FAQ

What modules does Procore include in the base price?+
Procore's base price includes the Project Management module, which covers RFIs, submittals, daily logs, drawings management, specifications, scheduling, meetings, photos, and the project directory. All other modules (Financial Management, Quality/Safety, Preconstruction, and Field Productivity) are add-ons that increase your subscription cost.
How much does Procore Financial Management add to the cost?+
The Financial Management module typically adds 15-25% to your base Procore price, which works out to roughly $300-$500/month additional for mid-size contractors. This module includes budgets, change orders, commitments, prime contracts, invoicing, pay applications, and forecasting. It has the longest implementation time of any module at 6-12 weeks due to data migration requirements.
Can I add Procore modules later?+
Yes, you can add modules to your Procore subscription at any time. However, adding modules later almost always costs more than bundling them into your initial contract. If you know you will need Financial Management or Quality/Safety within 12 months, negotiate those into your initial deal. Some contractors negotiate a pre-agreed add-on price for specific modules to lock in the rate.
What is the Procore full suite price?+
The full Procore suite (all modules) typically costs 1.5-2x the base Project Management price. For a mid-size contractor at $15M annual volume, this means the full suite might cost $22,500-$30,000/year compared to $15,000/year for PM only. Enterprise contractors at higher volumes may get better bundle pricing through multi-year agreements.
Which Procore modules should I start with?+
Start with Project Management (included in base), which covers daily operations. Add Financial Management if you need budget tracking and change order management. Quality/Safety is essential for contractors with OSHA compliance requirements or safety-sensitive projects. Preconstruction is primarily for GCs who bid on multiple competitive projects. Field Productivity is the least essential for most contractors.
